We are ordinary people who give our time to raising money and helping good causes in our local community as well as supporting humanitarian causes in global communities.

An active social programme and having fun is a key element of our philosophy.

What do we do?

We raise funds through the generosity and support of the public given to various events that we run throughout the year.  With these funds we can provide support for community and welfare projects.

Every penny raised is used to support charitable causes, most of which are in our local community.  See our Community Services page for further information.

How do we do it?

To support and fund the needs of our local and global communities, Christchurch Lions Club organises various fund-raising events throughout the year.

These include:

  • Car Boot sales
  • Easter Egg raffles
  • August Bank Holiday Event

And many more...

Each Lion Club member volunteers their time and skills to assist in meeting the needs of our local and global communities. Lions support each other in achieving their objectives.
